COVID-19: U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Update

Yesterday, April 9, 2020 the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) posted an updated and expanded publication addressing Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Laws related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The publication, “What You Should Know About COVID-19 and the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and Other EEO Laws," expands on a previous publication and includes a Q&A section in response to common inquiries.

In addition, the EEOC has provided employment-related COVID-19 resources on its website.

The EEOC advances opportunity in the workplace by enforcing federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination. More information is available at www.eeoc.gov.
