VMM associate Helen Tuckman, together with teammates Kristine Garcia-Elliott, Meredith Chesler, and Joseph Trotti, hosted a Mahjong night mixer for young professionals on August 27, 2026.
Titled "Winning Hands & Smart Plans," the evening was a casual mix of networking, play, and learning—both how to play Mahjong and how to plan for one's future.
Friends, colleagues, clients and other invitees were guided by Southern Mahjong Co., with a brief discussion by Ms. Tuckman about the parallels between Mahjong and estate planning: creating a game plan based on the hand you're dealt, but also being prepared to adjust for unexpected tiles at any point of the game...
