VMM Associate Helen Tuckman hosted a Mahjong night on August 27, 2026. Titled “Winning Hands & Smart Plans," the evening brought together friends, colleagues, clients, and guests for a fun night of networking and learning—both how to play Mahjong and how to plan for the future.
Guests were guided through the game by Southern Mahjong Co., while Ms. Tuckman shared a brief discussion on the parallels between Mahjong and estate planning. Much like Mahjong, estate planning involves creating a strategy based on the hand you are dealt while remaining prepared to adapt when circumstances change or the unexpected arises.
The event offered attendees an opportunity to make new connections, learn a new skill, and consider the importance of having a thoughtful plan in place for whatever comes next.
VMM team members Kristine Garcia-Elliott, Meredith Chesler, and Joseph Trotti were also in attendance.
