Barbara Hutter is an associate in VMM’s Litigation Department with a primary focus on Personal Injury and Real Estate Litigation.
A highly skilled attorney with over 20 years of litigation experience, Ms. Hutter brings her vast and sharp skills to advocate on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Hutter honed her investigative and advocacy skills during an 18-year career as a prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in the Trial and Appellate Divisions.
As an Assistant District Attorney, she investigated and litigated over 900 cases, including the most serious and sensitive violent crimes, interviewed thousands of witnesses, and examined countless documentary and physical pieces of evidence. She tried many cases to verdict and argued several appellate matters.
Following, Ms. Hutter spent over two years as an associate with a boutique personal injury firm focusing on catastrophic injuries and wrongful death matters. She conducted numerous depositions, attended countless court appearances, wrote and argued many motions, and sharpened her unique skill in advocating and developing a client’s case.
