The LI Herald (Herald Community Newspapers) announced their 2026 "Top Lawyers of Long Island" recognitions. VMM received three awards, including Top Law Firm of Long Island—for the eighth consecutive year!
The LI Herald Top Lawyers awards are given annually to “Long Island’s best and brightest legal professionals.” VMM is the only firm to be named Top Law Firm in its size category all eight years since the awards began.
In addition, two VMM attorneys received individual honors:
- Managing Partner Joseph Milizio was named "Top Lawyer of Long Island" in the Business & Transactional category, for the third consecutive year—the only attorney to be honored in this cateogry three years in a row.
- Partner Joseph Trotti was named "Top Lawyer of Long Island" in the Matrimonial & Family Law category, for the fourth year (2019-2021, 2024)
