Hon. Robert A. Carpentier is Of Counsel in Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP’s Business and Transactional Law, Real Estate Transactions, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates practices.
An experienced civil litigator and general practitioner, he represents private, corporate, nonprofit, and other clients in a wide array of matters, including commercial litigation, tax certiorari, probate, estate litigation, matrimonial & family law, education, election, municipal, zoning, appeals, and government relations.
Judge Carpentier is a Special Master in the Mandatory Civil Appeals Mediation Program, appointed by the Appellate Division, Second Department, Supreme Court. Additionally, he is eligible to receive appointments as a Receiver in Supreme Court by the State of New York Office of Court Administration. He is a retired elected Village Judge for the Incorporated Village of Manorhaven in Port Washington, New York.
Previously, he served as Special Counsel to Nassau County and on Manorhaven’s Board of Zoning Appeals. He also served as Municipal Counsel for the Port Washington Garbage District.
Additionally, he served as adjunct professor in economics at Nassau Community College.
